Cumulative obligations under the Department of Energy's management-and-operating contract with Stanford University for SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory have reached $14.88 billion, per USAspending.gov federal award data. The contract, awarded on a sole-source basis, has an all-options ceiling of nearly $25 billion.
