FDA Proposes Extending Tobacco Establishment Registration Requirements to Foreign Manufacturers
The Food and Drug Administration has proposed regulations that would require foreign tobacco establishment owners and operators to register with the agency and list their products, closing a gap in current law that applies only to domestic producers. Comments are due by September 14, 2026.
