Agencies Finalize Overhaul of Health Plan Price Transparency Reporting Rules
A joint final rule published October 6, 2026 by the Treasury Department, Labor Department, and Health and Human Services Department rewrites price transparency reporting requirements for non-grandfathered group health plans and issuers. The rule takes effect December 7, 2026 and implements Executive Order 14221 on healthcare pricing transparency.
