DAV Energy Solutions, Inc. was awarded a $1,392,916 contract by the Department of Veterans Affairs for an HVAC system improvement study, designated project number 663-25-900. The contract was signed in September 2025 with a period of performance running through July 2026.

Al Walker Electric Wins $2.5 Million GSA Contract for DC Central Heating Plant Boiler Operations
Al Walker Electric LLC was awarded a $2,538,682 contract by the General Services Administration's Public Buildings Service for boiler operator services at the Heating Operation and Transmission Districts Central Heating and Refrigeration Plant in Washington, D.C. The contract runs from March 2026 through February 2027, with options extending to February 2028.

CMS Proposes CY 2027 Hospital Outpatient Payment Rule, Seeks Input on Price Transparency and PPE Reimbursement
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services proposed its calendar year 2027 update to the Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System and Ambulatory Surgical Center payment system, including a request for information on standardizing hospital price transparency data and a potential separate payment for domestic procurement of PPE and essential medicines. Comments are due August 31, 2026.

Commdex Reaches $3.8 Million in Cumulative Obligations on DHS 5G Network Security Project
Commdex, LLC has reached $3,796,568 in cumulative obligations under a Department of Homeland Security contract supporting fifth-generation (5G) network security integration for the Secure and Resilient Mobile Network Infrastructure project. The contract was originally signed in September 2020 with a period of performance that ran through January 2025.

DOE Seeks Comment on Analytic Methods Used to Set Energy Conservation Standards
The Department of Energy is requesting public comment on the assumptions, models, and methodologies it uses to set energy conservation standards for covered products and equipment, including recommendations from a National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine review. Comments are due by September 8, 2026.

Link Technologies Secures $1.97 Million DOE Task Order for Nuclear Materials Safeguards Support
Link Technologies Inc. was awarded a $1,970,000 task order from the Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration for support services tied to nuclear materials management and safeguards systems. The delivery order was issued under a GSA Multiple Award Schedule vehicle with a performance period running through March 2027.
