NASA Names 2,115 Awardees for $60B SEWP VI IT Contract Vehicle
NASA has named 2,115 awardees across 1,490 vendors for its Solutions for Enterprise-wide Procurement (SEWP) VI Government-wide Acquisition Contract — a $60 billion, ten-year IT vehicle that replaces the widely used SEWP V.
The awards span three categories: Category A (IT Solutions, 364 awards), Category B (Enterprise-wide IT Service Solutions, 692 awards), and Category C (IT Mission-Based Services, 1,059 awards). Category C is new to SEWP VI and expands the vehicle's scope from commodity products into program-level services — a meaningful structural change from prior iterations.
Notable prime awardees include AT&T, Booz Allen Hamilton, CACI, Carahsoft, Chenega, ECS Federal, IBM, Leidos, Parsons, Peraton, Siemens, and WidePoint. Small businesses hold a substantial share of Category A seats.
SEWP VI carries a five-year base period with five one-year option periods, for a potential ten-year run. For agencies, it is designed to be the fastest path to commercial IT products and services, with streamlined ordering from a pre-competed pool. For vendors, it positions them on a vehicle that federal customers use for everything from hardware refresh to cloud migration to cybersecurity tooling.
Awardees who were not on SEWP V should expect task order competition to be aggressive — the depth of the vendor pool means agencies will have genuine choice on most requirements. Incumbents from SEWP V should treat their existing agency relationships as their most valuable near-term asset as ordering begins.
